Top Public Restrooms of the World
Both Wavehouse at Atlantis, Dubai and Vintry & Mercer, London were featured in the Design Showcase: Top five public restrooms, from Tophoteldesign.
Countless designs of public washrooms were reviewed from across the globe. Washrooms from Amsterdam, Shanghai, New Dehli, Dubai and London made the cut into the top 5, showcasing ‘how breathtaking these spaces can be when great interior design steps in.’
Vintry & Mercer, London
The first of two public washrooms to title on the acclaimed Top 5 list is Vintry & Mercer, London. Sanipex Group delivered full bathroom and washroom supply in partnership with Dexter Moren Assosiates, with the public washrooms featuring the popular M-Line range in Zanzibar.
The Zanzibar brassware creates a focal point as well as delivering a biophilic design style through use of organic colours with brushed brass mixers and deep-green beveled tiles. Thanks to these selections the cleaner-style sink is elevated to a reimagined space with a nod to the traditional, in line with the ‘old meets new’ design ethos of the hotel.
Wavehouse, Dubai
The second striking washroom supplied by Sanipex Group is Wavehouse at Atlantis, Dubai, designed by Bishop Design. Never afraid to use colour in bold maximalist designs, it is no surprise a washroom by Bishop Design was selected for the top 5.
As an entertainment hub, attention grabbing elements are common throughout the venue, especially in the washrooms. Bishop has been commended for the creative use of bespoke pink bathtubs in the ladies washrooms which are appreciated by every audience visiting the family friendly venue. Two of these bathtubs act as the basins with eight of the elegant Bagnodesign floor mounted bath fillers as taps. A truly unique composition for an original design.
The Urban Bagnodesign bathtubs were also supplied to the rooms and suites of the iconic Atlantis hotel at Palm Jumeirah.
