SANIPEX Group, in partnership with ETAB International, exhibited for the first time at this year’s Hotel Show Saudi Arabia, which ran from 7th to 9th September 2021.

The SANIPEX GROUP exhibition space, which spanned 72 square metres with a premium high footfall location close to the entrance, proved to be of high appeal to both professional and private clients. With inspiring room sets featuring the latest indoor and outdoor luxury living trends, SANIPEX GROUP and ETAB showcased a carefully curated collection of design-led products from leading global brands including Dolphin, Nobili and Axent, and the Group’s own high-quality brands, BAGNODESIGN and Gymkhana.

Hani Alsaloum, Group Business Development Manager for SANIPEX GROUP KSA, commented: “Having recently relaunched the Loft by ETAB Riyadh showroom, it was important to demonstrate the expanded collection, which now includes outdoor furniture. The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia is the ideal platform by which to do so, being a major draw for the numerous designers, engineers and private clients that make up our loyal customer base, whilst extending our brand reach to new market segments.”

Held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, the Hotel Show Saudi Arabia showcases hundreds of global brands and attracts 6,500 visitors annually. Recognised as the Kingdom’s premier trade event for the food and hospitality industry, the Hotel Show is an essential platform where players from across the food and hospitality landscape meet, network and discuss market needs and trends to drive the industry forward.

The KSA Opportunity

As Vision 2030 unlocks a new world of opportunity driven by innovation and the need to diversify, we can expect to see a major boost for infrastructure and construction development across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In particular, the nation’s capital, Riyadh, is fast emerging as a priority market for players across the industry. With the Saudi government having launched an $800 billion plan to transform Riyadh into a mega-metropolis and position it amongst world’s top 100 most livable cities by 2030, the city is poised for significant growth.

The goal to increase Riyadh’s population from 7.6m to 15-20m by 2030 will require a significant boost to the city’s current housing stock, the current supply of around 1.28 million units not being adequate to accommodate the expected influx. The current pipeline is expected to increase Riyadh’s housing supply to 1.37 million units by the end of 2023, with additional inbound investment being sought to meet future demand via new Foreign Direct Investment flows, strategic joint ventures and Public Private Partnerships.

As the nation further opens up and key tourism projects come to fruition, the hospitality sector will experience significant growth. Saudi Arabia currently holds the world’s largest hotel construction pipeline with 185 projects representing a total of 66,898 keys. In Riyadh alone, hotel rooms are expected to increase by 25 percent within the next three years.
