Zaha Hadid Architects have led the King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station in Riyadh to service the fast-growing population which has doubled since 1990. The futuristic façade was designed to deflect solar gain and emulate the natural sand dunes of the surroundings in Saudi Arabia. Both external and internal structure feature intricate lattice designs contextualising the culture of KSA.
The bathroom design features many stainless steel items thanks to the material’s well recognised durability and prevention of oxidisation, hence a perfect choice for high-traffic public areas. The product partnership with inset wash basin and wall hung WC create a timelessly sleek yet eternally serviceable and easy-to-clean design.
