Cookie Policy

  • 1. About this Policy and Relationship to Other Terms

This Cookie Policy explains how Sanipex Group (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, apps and online services. Read this together with our Privacy Notice and our Terms & Conditions of Sale. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in those documents.

We operate a Preferences Centre that lets you grant or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time. Your settings are browser- and device-specific and may need to be repeated if you clear cookies.

  • 2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

    • Cookies: small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a site.
    • Local storage / session storage: browser-based storage used for similar purposes.
    • Pixels / tags / beacons: small code snippets that load when you view a page or email.
    • SDKs: code libraries used in mobile apps providing functionality similar to cookies.

For simplicity, we refer to all of the above as “cookies”.

  • 3. Categories of Cookies We Use

    • Strictly Necessary — required for site operation, security, network management, shopping cart, checkout, authentication and consent logging. These do not require consent.
    • Performance / Analytics — measure site usage and improve performance and user experience (for example, page load times, error reports, aggregate usage).
    • Functional — remember choices such as language and region, and provide enhanced features.
    • Advertising / Targeting — deliver ads relevant to your interests, limit repetition, and measure campaign effectiveness; may be set by us or by third parties on our pages.

In regions where required, non-essential categories (Performance/Analytics, Functional where not strictly necessary, and Advertising/Targeting) operate on a prior-consent basis.

  • 4. Managing Your Consent and Preferences

    • On your first visit, we present a banner with options to accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or manage choices at a granular level by category.
    • You can change your mind at any time via the Preferences Centre link in the footer or your browser settings.
    • We maintain consent logs (date, time, categories chosen, region) for compliance.
    • Blocking non-essential cookies may reduce or disable certain features. Where this is the case, we explain the impact in the Preferences Centre.
    • Email pixels: you can disable remote images in your email client to limit pixel tracking in marketing emails.
    • Do Not Track: our websites do not respond to DNT signals. Use the Preferences Centre to control cookies.
  • 5. Browser and Device Controls

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect functionality, such as keeping items in your basket or staying signed in. We provide links to help pages for major browsers and mobile platforms from the Preferences Centre.

  • 6. Cookies We Use — Cookie Register

We maintain a live cookie register in the Preferences Centre listing the cookies in use, including their names, providers, purposes, lifespans, whether they are first- or third-party, and whether consent is required. The register is updated as services change.

This register is kept under review and updated as our services, features, and third-party integrations change. Any cookie list included in this Policy (or elsewhere on the website) is provided for indicative purposes only and the live cookie register in the Preferences Centre shall prevail. By way of illustration, cookies may include strictly necessary cookies used for secure login, cart continuity and storing your cookie preferences, performance and analytics cookies used to produce aggregated usage statistics (including, where applicable, measures such as IP truncation), functional cookies used to remember language and region settings, and advertising or targeting cookies used by third party networks for ad delivery, measurement and frequency capping, each subject to the consent requirements applicable to your location and the relevant cookie category.

For mobile apps, SDKs may perform similar functions for authentication, crash reporting and analytics.

  • 7. Third-Party Cookies and International Transfers

Some cookies are set by third parties providing services such as analytics, advertising, social media integrations, payment security, or A/B testing. These parties may process data outside your country. We apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers as set out in our Privacy Notice.

  • 8. Data Collected via Cookies and Retention

    • Identifiers (e.g., cookie IDs, device IDs), approximate location derived from IP, browser type/version, pages viewed, timestamps, referring URLs, and interaction events.
    • For logged-in users, certain functional cookies may link to your account so the site remembers you across sessions.
    • Retention equals the cookie lifespan; analytics and consent logs are retained only as long as necessary for the stated purposes and compliance.
  • 9. Advertising and Measurement

If you consent to Advertising/Targeting cookies, we may use them to deliver personalised ads on our sites or on third-party platforms and to measure campaign effectiveness (for example, views, clicks and conversions). You can withdraw consent at any time via the Preferences Centre.

We may also use contextual advertising that does not rely on personal data; you may still see non-personalised ads.

  • 10. Children

Our services are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided data via cookies or SDKs, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

  • 11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical or business changes. Material changes will be signposted in a reasonable manner. The Effective date and Version identify the current edition.

  • 12. Contact

For questions about cookies or your choices, contact [email protected]. For cross-border transfers and rights, see our Privacy Notice.
