And to support this exciting growth and expansion, a career opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller.

As a Stock controller, you will oversee the review of stock performance metrics, including sales analysis, identifying non-movers and slow movers, and recommending strategic actions such as optimizing display, managing markdowns, and adjusting pricing to achieve targeted sales, stock turnover, and gross margins.

About the role

As a Stock controller, you will conduct thorough in-season stock analysis, review performance metrics, and manage markdown strategies using ABC analysis. Your insights on promotions and liquidations will focus on maximizing margins and determining optimal price points. Managing end-of-season SKU bundling/kitting will be crucial, ensuring efficient stock management. You will evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional strategies to meet sales, margin, and inventory objectives. Monthly reports on stock performance across stores, categories, and product types will provide actionable insights, supported by detailed inventory write-off reports. Your role will involve presenting stock liquidation analyses and action plans to key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation at store levels. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will communicate and execute strategic merchandise action plans, influencing display levels and pricing strategies.

About you

About you

You will possess advanced proficiency in data analytics and ERP systems, with a preference for experience in Microsoft AX. You will have advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly with pivot tables and macros. With a background in managing diverse SKUs, ideally within the sanitary ware, furniture, or home furnishing sectors, you bring over 5 years of relevant experience to the role. You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration across teams. You thrive in a flexible work environment, displaying self-motivation and a focus on delivering results. Capable of meeting deadlines under pressure, you demonstrate accuracy and precision in your work. A valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
