How has Lofra become widely known for its hallmark style?
Lofra has always been recognised as a world-class manufacturer of kitchen appliances, focussing on quality and design since 1956. Our aim is to bring the real meaning of the Italian kitchen to the world.
We mix two rational and emotional aspects of our corporate soul: the historical Italian design and industrial tradition together with the well-known Italian love for food and conviviality with family and friends.
Efficiency and a duty to the environment have always been some of the main values of our company. For example, we design high efficient gas burners that can reduce energy consumption.
How has the brand revolutionised home cooking for the better?
We focus on the quality of materials and offer a wide range of technical and aesthetic solutions developed by our advanced research & development department, ensuring total safety and optimal performance.
We are inspired by our customers’ needs and strive to fulfil every desire as much as possible. Some of our technologies include the unique brushed stainless steel cooktops of our ranges, specifically designed for easy cleaning; the flame failure device which provides an added layer of safety to our products; the tempered triple-glazed oven doors that reduce external surface temperatures; and the cooling fan that enables users to handle our appliances even at very high temperatures. Additionally, touch control, telescopic shelf supports, and anti-fingerprint stainless steel finishes certainly enhance the experience.
How has Lofra made it easier for customers to clean their products?
We simplify cleaning with our special easy-to-clean enamel for our ovens. This unique coating makes the internal surface smoother and easier to clean compared to the competition.
To maintain your oven and stainless steel cooktops, clean them after each use to prevent burnt-on food stains. For glass surfaces, use a soft cloth, like microfibre, with a glass detergent to remove stubborn dirt. A good degreaser ensures a flawless finish. Always rinse and dry with the microfibre cloth for exceptional results.
It is also recommended to use a non-aggressive, neutral or basic cleaner for glass cooktops. To prevent damage, do not leave acidic or alkaline substances like vinegar, coffee, milk, salt water, lemon juice or tomato juice on enamelled or steel surfaces for extended periods of time.

You can cook pizzas with our gas ovens or enjoy seafood using our multifunction electric ovens. If you want to cook like a real Italian chef, you can select from a range of accessories designed to enhance every dish. Prepare a real cheese pizza for your family with our baking stone and wooden shovel, or sizzle burgers and meats using our cast iron fry top.
Alternatively, prepare a breakfast toast for your children on the grilling grid, or enjoy chicken and potatoes with our rotisserie kit.
How does Lofra's commitment to producing all its products in Italy reflect the essence of Italian craftsmanship?
Quality starts with selecting materials and components, mainly sourced locally. Our internal craftsmen then amplify this quality. Our products are manufactured in the North East of Italy, Torreglia (Padua), in our 33,000 square metre manufacturing plant by specialised personnel who possess a historical and incomparable know-how.
We handcraft our products by assembling all the components, from the front panels to the gas burners, from the oven door to the knobs. All our craftsmen pay attention to every small detail during their manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring that quality control is maintained throughout the entire production process – from the initial stages to packaging.
