The 1,743 custom basins and 216 custom bathtubs were also crafted especially for this project, in the exclusive Bagnoquartz material. This tactile texture is crafted from finest South African quartz ore and minerals. The talc-like powder of these ground materials is mixed with just the right amount of superior resin – a recipe perfected over 20 years  – to create not only a stronger product, but a beautiful one. The resin creates  a solid, robust, durable material; yet the higher concentration of quartz in this results in a luxurious, glistening appearance for a soft, inviting environment with a sumptuous tub you simply can’t wait to relax in. The inset basin allowed for a luxurious travertine effect slab tile to encase the pure blended stone .
