Memorial Turned Museum

Sanipex Group was most pleased to be a partner in the meticulous makeover of the memorial Qasr Al Hosn. Now a world-renowned centre for the culture and arts, Qasr Al Hosn – meaning ‘Palace Fort’ underwent an 11 year restoration with 11.3 million man hours. This historical fort built in the 1790s overlooking coastal trade routes is an incredible rarity in the UAE. With a limited number of historical sites across the region, it is vital to preserve Qasr Al Hosn’s history. Time has seen the Inner fort and Outer Palace house the ruling family, seat of government and now stands to proudly as a heritage landmark showcasing the nation’s history as a museum offering an engaging oasis of Emirati culture.

Award Winning Restoration

This project with Voltas earnt an award of GDD Project of the Year at the MEP awards thanks to implementing an extensive underground infrastructure to facilitate renovations.

To serve these high traffic areas Sanipex Group supplied a full washroom solution featuring the stylish Vola Wall Mounted Touchless basin mixer and Alavo mirror system to uphold hygiene and efficiency in this valued public space.
