A Royal Refurbishment

LW Design lead refurbishment of Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa’s Central Tower into a chic contemporary space. The award-winning, newly refurbished luxury hotel has undergone transformation of the hotel lobby, brasserie and piano bar alongside a number of the hotels 504 a-la-mode accommodations.

With hotel design seeing a fusion of hybridisation with many trends interlocking it is no surprise we see a fusion from the award-winning design firm LW Design. As a pioneer of dramatic and trend forward design, the beach-come-industrial ethos in the rooms at Le Meridien Beach Resort & Spa evokes a balanced, relaxing air. The timber effects and matt black accents are softened by feminine touches with a refined colour palette. Evoking a spa like feel with oversized tub, stone effect tiles and clever halo lighting the sandy calming colouration continues to the bathrooms where the uplifting neutral palette gives way to the matt black brassware’s expression. Matt Black Teatro brassware contrasts against white Funktion basin and Carol tub for a lavish look.

Sleeper Magazine reported: ‘one physical challenge was the lack of space in the bathroom, which made it more difficult to achieve a lavish look and feel.’  Yet thanks to a sliding door opening up the space and striking Matt Black Teatro brassware, the lavish look was achieved.
