Outdoor Living for an Urban Resort Setting

Peninsula Four, The Plaza is a waterfront development by Select Group, comprising two 52-storey towers and 16 waterfront duplex lofts. SANIPEX GROUP supplied the outdoor living package for its pool decks, podiums and ground-floor loft areas, as well as deck tiles.

The spaces have a contemporary urban-resort character with clean profiles and repeated arrangements that bring order to the amenity areas. Porcelain white, silver, grey and graphite form a restrained base, while teak and Cherry Wood Look finishes add warmth against the water, planting and Business Bay skyline.

Poolside Lounging

The package comprised 188 sunbeds and loungers. Porcelain White GYMKHANA in-pool sunbeds introduce a continuous curved profile along the shallow pool ledge. Made from UV20-rated polyethylene, they are suited to this exposed application. Their Porcelain White finish also stands out against the turquoise water, with the regularly spaced forms establishing a strong visual rhythm.

Podium B is furnished with 60 cushioned aluminium sunbeds in Graphite/Dark Grey and White/Silver. Reclining backrests allow the seating position to be adjusted. Finely woven upholstery and cylindrical headrests give the sunbeds a tailored appearance, and wheels and stackable frames simplify everyday handling and storage.

A further 68 aluminium sunbeds in White and Graphite are positioned on Podium A. Their reclining backrests accommodate different resting positions, and the combination of wheels and stackable construction makes everyday handling more practical. By contrast, the ground-floor loft area has a more relaxed, residential character, furnished with 40 GYMKHANA Penthouse sunbeds in teak. Light-toned cushions and cylindrical headrests soften the timber frames. A notched mechanism allows the backrest to be adjusted, and integrated wheels aid repositioning.

Dining and Shade

Matt White GYMKHANA Porto café tables are finished with Sassi Grigio Levigato Matt porcelain tops. Their terrazzo-like pattern of grey, cream and white fragments adds visual depth and relates naturally to the surrounding paving. Continuing this restrained palette, the dining chairs pair white aluminium frames with closely woven grey rope and Silver cushions, introducing texture and softening the clean-lined setting.

Across the cushioned loungers and dining chairs, quick-dry foam supports regular use beside the water, with removable linings and water-repellent finishes making routine care more straightforward.

GYMKHANA Olbia umbrellas in Matt White and Vanilla echo the lighter furniture finishes. Vulcano umbrellas in Cherry Wood Look and Ecru relate naturally to the teak furniture. Both designs use aluminium construction, and protective covers assist with care when not in use. Weighted granite and cement/aluminium bases provide stability; wheels incorporated into the granite versions make selected umbrellas easier to reposition.

High Stock for a Coordinated Supply

High stock availability was central to fulfilling the project at this scale. The principal dining chairs, café-table frames, in-pool loungers, sunbeds and umbrellas were in stock or reserved when ordered. Only the porcelain tabletops and Penthouse cushion upholstery required additional production, helping SANIPEX GROUP coordinate substantial quantities and consistent finishes across the outdoor zones within the delivery programme.
