UKSlab Fabrication Facility
At SANIPEX GROUP’s 16,000 m² Slab Fabrication Facility in Jebel Ali, porcelain stoneware tiles and slabs are cut, profiled and finished to project dimensions, from bespoke mosaics to repeat components for larger schemes.
From measurement and cutting to profiling, polishing and inspection, each stage is managed in-house.
About the facility
At our Slab Fabrication Facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai, we cut porcelain stoneware tiles and slabs to exact specifications using high-pressure waterjet technology and high-speed 5-axis bridge saws. Dedicated profiling equipment supports custom edges, profiles and trims for made-to-measure applications.
Capabilities extend beyond standard cutting to bespoke mosaics, custom profiles and trims, non-standard slab formats and complex geometric compositions. Project support can extend from design consultation and material specification through precision fabrication and coordinated delivery.
Project references include InterContinental Dubai Marina, Rohini by Little Miss India, the Dubai Mall public areas upgrade (10,000+ m² of tiles) and Museum of the Future. Requirements have ranged from high-traffic tiled areas to bespoke floor and surface details, showing how controlled fabrication supports accuracy, repeatability and programme.
Made in the Emirates Mark
Selected products carry the Made in the Emirates mark, reflecting SANIPEX GROUP’s commitment to local manufacturing and quality. These include BAGNODESIGN Alpine basins, countertops and urinal partitions, as well as GYMKHANA fire tables and planters.
Bespoke Fabrication in Practice
At Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai, SANIPEX GROUP produced a bespoke floor mosaic for the spa and pool areas in collaboration with LW Design. With no standard tile option suited to the brief, more than 69,700 individual pieces were cut from 250 m² of material, assembled and delivered within the required programme. The finished geometric pattern draws on traditional hammam interiors.
At InterContinental Dubai Marina, the facility produced a Deco-style tiled floor for the serviced residences, while Rohini by Little Miss India features an intricate custom floor design.
Custom Mosaics
European porcelain stoneware can be precision-cut into bespoke mosaics for floors, walls and feature surfaces. Patterns, colours and finishes can be developed around the brief, with fabrication suited to the required application, including high-footfall areas.

Bathroom
Bespoke basins, countertops, shelving and shower elements can be fabricated to the dimensions and material requirements of the bathroom. Custom seating and mosaic features can be incorporated where required, allowing materials and finishes to be coordinated across the vanity, shower and adjoining details.

Custom countertops and backsplashes can be fabricated to project dimensions, with support from material selection through to installation. This allows adjoining surfaces, edges and details to be coordinated around the kitchen layout.

Landscape
For outdoor settings, the facility can fabricate planters, tabletops, fire tables, steps, seating elements, outdoor kitchens, bars, pool tiles, copings and cladding to project dimensions. Fabricating these elements to the brief supports consistency across landscape and poolside areas.
