Maximising the City's Status

Named after the sites historical plywood works complete with timber yard, this residential development in Birmingham, England compromises 379 apartments – a mixture of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments – with impressive amenities and sleek aesthetics.

With Birmingham’s recent regeneration programme, fueled by the transportation expansions such as the HS2 line to London and expansion of both the Midlands metro and airport, Timber Yard appeals to young professionals and city lovers. Particularly as it is situated amongst a multicultural and diverse area with a jovial vibe. In correlation to the five-year property forecast predicting growth in the area, Timber Yard’s investment potential has been recognised with nearly all units sold prior to completion.

Aesthetic Architecture

Developed by Galliard Homes in partnership with Apsley House Capital, the project was overseen by J S Wright, voted one of the UK’s Top Ten Contractors and designed by Claridge Architects. The multi award-winning RIBA-chartered architectural practice is infamous for specialising in contemporary design and architectural ‘elegance and simplicity’. The concrete frame and exposed brickwork are juxtaposed by the central courtyard to accentuate and soften a historical site, with the high-spec interiors of equal excitement to buyers.
