The University of Birmingham officially opened its iconic new campus in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC). Spanning an area of 30,000 square metres, the campus was built to support up to 4,500 students.

Designed by Hopkins Architects and built by Khansaheb, the buildings overlook parkland and natural spaces to reflect the ‘green heart’ of the University’s campus in Birmingham.

SANIPEX GROUP supplied the washroom fittings and accessories for the university incorporating touchless mixers, flush plates and soap dispensers to cater to hygiene requirements in high-traffic areas.

Water-saving measures are met through the use of touchless taps and flow regulators to assist in our duty to the environment.

The bathroom design features inset wall mounted wash basins, wall-hung WCs and stainless steel brassware to create a timelessly sleek yet eternally serviceable and easy-to-clean design.

The stainless steel brassware and accessories are easy to clean and maintain thanks to the material’s well-recognised durability and prevention of oxidisation, hence a perfect choice for high-traffic areas.

With strong supply-chain capabilities and stock of over 8,500 active products housed in our 155,000 sqft warehouse, Sanipex Group can rapidly execute large-scale orders while maintaining high standards of service.
