149 beautifully crafted homes, from multi-award-winning developer Joseph Homes, were delivered in line with Sanipex Group’s own ‘Live Well’ values. The partnership was an alignment of company ethos’s as well as ‘exploring how design and innovation can help us build homes that promote mental and physical wellbeing.’

Sustainability in Design

With feedback from the community at proposal stage, the wellbeing of the residents takes precedence throughout the build process. Specification measures to improve wellbeing are plentiful. For physical wellbeing, MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery) systems remove stale air and pollens to supplying fresh, filtered air to every room. As natural and arcadian light is proven to have mental health benefits, natural light was a key inclusion; ceilings are between 2.5 – 2.7 metres high and homes are complete with many floor to ceiling windows to accompany the balconies which  allow for breathing fresh air and admiring the great outdoors.

To benefit the environment, photovoltaic solar panels, low energy lighting and electric car charging point are also implemented in the development.

‘Lovingly crafted’ interiors with contemporary innovation and creativity have been delivered throughout, whilst responding to modern interior trends. As the bathroom is fast becoming a place of sanctuary within the home, Joseph Homes delivered a relaxing retreat.

Clean lines with fresh white sanitaryware, furniture and tiling is a timeless scheme. The Funktion furniture offers a sleek storage solution – to keep the surfaces and the mind clutter free – with contemporary M-Line wall mounted mixer tap and shower valve delivering a modern solution. The overhead Koy rain shower offers one of life’s little luxuries on a daily basis and of course there are sumptuous bathtubs, complete with a streamlined overflow-filler, to slip into and melt away the day’s stresses.
